Welcome to the The Roadmap to Health Project - the current legislative initiative to build a state-of-the-art health care delivery system in West Virginia. Lawmakers, doctors, providers and health care professionals will use this site to freely exchange ideas with state citizens and work in a strong collaborative effort to bring sustainable change to our health care industry.

Stakeholders from business and labor, the legislature and a vast array or volunteers are unified in an effort to make this process work. To insure our success, we have contracted with a nationally recognized expert, Dr. Kenneth Thorpe, to lead our efforts.

Over the course of the next several months, this web page will offer updates on our progress, serve as a conduit for the exchange of vital information and provide access to the process for all of West Virginia. Ultimately we hope we will have a health care system that delivers the right care, in the right place, at the right time, by the right provider, for the right price.
